ABOUT YOUR COACH
My passion is to guide people towards a healthier lifestyle. We are all unique, with our own strengths, limitations and circumstances. My method is to meet you where you are at in a non dogmatic way. Customize a plan based on your current state of health, schedule, preferences and more importantly, your goals. I aim to kickstart your transformation from the inside out, by providing education, motivation, guidance and accountability to help you make better decisions when it comes to your health.

I have a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine (Acupuncture and Herbology). I am an accredited Metabolic Health Practitioner and doubled certified Nutrition Coach and Personal Trainer. I am also a Certified Weight Loss Specialist. Overall, a well rounded wellness professional dedicated to helping you achieve optimal health. What sets me apart however, is the experience I have gained working with primarily woman (and a few good man) of color for the last 8 years. Helping them reverse metabolic conditions such as insulin resistance and all that is rooted in this condition such as pre diabetes, diabetes, hypertension, obesity, cholesterol issues.

I wholeheartedly believe that food heals. I was able to get off 4 medications for chronic pain, manage migraines, improve mood disorder and overcome sugar addiction. Looking fitter was just the added bonus to all the health benefits!
If we want to look good on the outside, we must nourish our bodies with natural whole foods and keep processed food as far away as possible. Our outer appearance will reflect the state of our internal system. Just eat real food and supplement when appropriate! I advocate eating. No calorie restrictions that only leaves you hangry. A whole foods diet reduces inflammation and balances hormones. That's how we target weight loss!

Pair up nutrition with a movement regimen, allow the body to restore and repair with good sleep and keep our emotional state stable with stress management, and you will feel the best you have ever felt in your life!
